Most of procurement is the same everywhere. The rest is not.

Atlas runs procurement for any organisation that buys: a university, a clinic, a consultancy, a council. Sourcing, approvals, orders, receipts, matching and payment work the same way whatever you buy. For six industries there is also a pack. It adds what that industry cannot buy without, inside the screens you already use. The whole system is included in the licence, and so is the Construction pack. Other packs are US$10,000 a year each, per country. You can switch on more than one. A food manufacturer is FMCG and manufacturing.

A pack is an addition, not an entry requirement. Take an education group, a professional services firm, a clinic, a utility, a charity or a council. With no pack switched on, Atlas works exactly as it always has. You get the whole source-to-pay cycle, supplier management, the rules engine and the audit trail. You also get eleven finance connectors and six regional editions. Nothing is held back. There is just no industry pack for your sector yet. A list of six packs is not a list of who we serve.

How a pack behaves

Five rules every pack follows.

They make switching a pack on safe, not a project. They are the same five in every industry.

The rule
What it means for you
It ships empty and refuses
Nothing is assumed for you. Until someone records a shelf-life policy, a sanctioned amount or a store, the screen asks for it. It does not invent a value that looks normal. A control you think is running, but is not, is worse than one you know is missing.
It lives inside the screens you already use
Capital cost objects appear beside the cost-centre budgets. Shelf life, units, non-conformance, variants, transfers, quarantine and approved sources appear on the stock item. No pack adds a section to the navigation. A menu named after your industry is a demo feature.
It only ever adds
Switching one on changes nothing about how you already buy. Every requisition, order, match and payment works exactly as before. That is why turning one on is reversible.
It is priced plainly, and construction is included
Everything from the first request to the final payment is included in the licence. So is the Construction pack. The only extras are FMCG, Retail, Oil & gas, Manufacturing and Pharma. Each is US$10,000 a year per country that uses it, stated in your order.
No region's practice ships as universal
The mechanism is usually the same across the six regions Atlas serves. The words, the legal trigger and the customs treatment usually are not. Where we have established your region's term, you get it. Where we have not, you get a neutral term and a note saying so. Never another region's word under your flag.

Hospitals and health systems show how we treat a gap. They are named inside the product as an industry we have not built a pack for. They are not quietly left off a list. Their duties around formularies, ward-level custody and recall to the patient are real. We have not researched them. The pharma pack is for manufacturers and distributors, not hospitals. A hospital still runs its whole procurement on Atlas today. Tell us your industry. We will tell you honestly what you would get, and what you would not.
